Description:
16 gauge. 34-1/8" solid rib Damascus bbls. LOP 14". On the right lock is marked "KreiSser" and on the left lock is "in Leipzig". Engraved game scenes and scrolled borders and hammers as well as scrolls at the muzzle. On the bbls are "CANON TORDU" on the left and "FER DE FAUX" on the right with an arrow in the concave all in gold inlay. Ebony trigger guard and buttplate. Bbls are thin brown with visible Damascus pattern. Case colors on the breech and locks has turned silver. The half stock has a carved wolf's head at the tip with pearl inlaid "eyes". Pin pattern checkering on the grip and forend. Molded edge cheekpiece. Left hammer spur is broken/missing. A very interesting and unique German double bbl.
