Vintage Winchester model 70 pre-1964 chambered for the .30-06,with a 22" tapered barrel, and a clean, rifled bore. with shallow corrosion down in the grooves but not affecting the accuracy. Made in 1964 SN 761118. The American walnut checkered walnut stock is very good with nice age patina, and looks like the original finish. Comes with a black factory installed rubber recoil pad .Mounted to the top of the receiver is mounted Bauch & Lomb scope rings. . The exterior blue finish is about 95%. One rectangular spot of barrel where there were pits and BUBBA cleaned they with steel wool. A handy rig ready for the wool, measures 3/*" long X 1/4" wide on right side. Action is smooth and tight.
