Description:
This is a Custom Left Handed rifle built on a Ranger action in .375 H&H Magnum. The action is a true left handed one from the Ranger Arms Company which was located in Gainesville, Texas. This action was a Homer Koons design with a large diameter jeweled bolt and three locking lugs for strength and a short bolt throw. It has an extractor on the bolt and a plunger ejector. Metal is in Excellent condition with a few handling marks on the underside of the barrel about 4 inches from the muzzle. The bore of the 25 inch barrel is bright and shiny. The stock is walnut with fine bordered checkering in a Fleur-de-Lys pattern. It has a checkered steel pistol grip cap, a black fore end cap, and a Pachmayr butt pad. The wood is in Excellent condition. This rifle comes with a Leupold Vari-X II 1-4 scope in Weaver mounts that is included in the price of the rifle. The scope and mounts will not be removed and the rifle repriced without them.
