Early type six groove leather grip in excellent condition. Correct pommel starburst peen with "S and I" and "12" with small latch pins. Guard with "U.S. M4/ Utica" and flaming bomb. Blade with 50% of it's original parkerized finish and no dings excellent. Beckwith scabbard is an M8A1 with squad markings in white paint on back on canvas and "B.M. & Co." marking under model designation. This scabbard is wartime as well with belt hook being magnetic(post war ones were non magnetic alloy). Period OD green paint on scabbard. Brass snap perfect working order. Original leather leg strap a nice addition. Double hook sewn in belt loop another Beckwith aspect. SOLD |
