U.S. RIFLE MODEL 1892 SPRINGFIELD KRAG JORGENSEN BAYONET & SCABBARD. Dated 1899 (with US opposite)with round rivets holding grip panels which is correct for that year. Excellent blade never re-sharpened. Hook type swivel arm scabbard with original blue fading to plum. Few dings on back of scabbard. Nice tight fit. "A2/53" neatly stamped in one wood grip panel. Good tension on button release.
