NEAR-MINT U.S. REMINGTON MODEL 1917 BAYONET AND SCABBARD FOR EDDYSTONE or WINCHESTER. 22½ inches overall. No oil hole. Retains virtually of the original half tone blue finish(factory dip procedure correct) with rest of blade the correct white finish. Scabbard near mint with "Jewell-1918"(Jewell Belt Co.) and "H.E." initials and mint stitching under green paint. Standard Remington markings at the ricasso and dated “1917”. The obverse stamped “ordnance bomb/US”. Mint original wood panels with unturned screws with ALL the original blue. A prime example for any Mint 1917 rifle or Trench gun. Small ding in drag.
