MARTINI HENRY MK III PATTERN 1887 SWORD BAYONET AND SCABBARD. 23 ½” overall with 18” unfullered blade. “BROAD ARROW” marked at ricasso and ordnance proofed with crown over 9 over E and deeply struck X. Opposite with Crown/VR "2 '94" for 1894. Pommel with serial number "6786". Crown over 9 over M just under lug slot. Original leather grip panels with rivets excellent. Nepalese markings on scabbard throat. Scabbard drag has "CHP 1.00" stamped on it. Leather and stitching excellent. Very good plus. Made for the Mark I, II and III rifles. Possibly fit Mark IV too.
