Description:
1944 Quality Hardware M1 Carbine. Type 3 configuration. Inland 1-44 barrel date, excellent bore. LW stamped replacement stock with AAW rework cartouche. 4,77x,xxx puts it late 1st or early 2nd ¼ of 44. So barrel may be original. Excellent finish. Appears to be all military and period correct as arsenal refinished. Quality Hardware produced less than 6% or the Carbines manufactured and the only Part they manufactured was the receiver, the balance of the parts came from outside contractors. The oiler is SI marked and includes the sling shown. This gun was purchased post war from the CMP and put away. Includes 1 WW2 vintage 15 round magazine.
