Description:
Nice original Browning Sweet Sixteen A5, 1954 vintage. Uncut stock. 28" full choke barrel with scare matted rib. The gun shows very little use mechanically or in the finish with just a hint of blue loss on the lower carry points. The wood is very good and lacks the normal finish crazing on guns of this vintage though there is one finish spilt ont he right side of the forend that is not in the wood just the finish There is an area on the top of the barrel near the receiver that shows very light freckles almost invisible. I small storage scratch on the right side of the barrel. A new butt plate would be about the only change needed on this great early 50's gun as it shows some storage damage and deterioration not a must but about the only real flaw on the gun.
