WW1 COLT ARMY SPECIAL GREEK ROYAL ARMY CONTRACT .38 SPL REVOLVER CA. 1915. 4 ½” barrel and factory wood grips. Butt strap stamped “EBZ-3119 (actually the letters are Greek for Epsilon Beta Sigma which translates to Greek Royal Army). 25,000 purchased by the Greek Government from Colt early in World War One(Contracted for in 1916). Very good overall and complete and in good working order. Excellent bore and mechanically perfect like other period Colts of this era. Rare Colt contract with most lost or destroyed in two World Wars. 100% original.
