Guns by Sally-always the best for less. We are exceptionally proud to offer this rarely seen version of any gun, the experimental. This carbine was never mass produced, and this is the only known example to exist. It has a unique set of features that add to its value. It is built with a 16 inch barrel, large loop lever, shotgun butt, saddle ring, and early style front sight. The modern style engraving actually looks quite good, and certainly boosts it to a higher class. Made while Winchester still had its dignity, there is no cross bolt or tang safety, and it was made at the New Haven factory. Shipped from one end of the facility to the other, she is still in the original red and white Winchester box. Since it was experimental, there is no standard end label on either end. The condition is very good, as this carbine was probably never fired. On consignment from a major collector, we are lucky to see this gun on the open market. If you believe you are a top Winchester collector with one of everything, this gun may give you pause to reconsider.
