This gun Serial number 51 , probably made the first day of production, and possibly never fired, Bore is NEW, no sign of being fired on front of cylinder, or recoil shield. Grips are numbered to gun and 99%, Barrel is 3 1/2", all assembly numbers on gun match, (W-3). Nickel is not milky at all, and 100% original guaranteed !! this gun is for the fussiest S&W collector, who wants just the best. Made 1865. Barrel is marked patent dates 1855 & 1859, I dont know how you can get a better one !!
