Description:
This is a custom 6x284 built on a model 98 action. It has a 24" Douglas barrel and Timney trigger set at a crisp 2.25 lbs.. It is topped with a 2.5X10 Sightron scope. Also included is a Redding 3 die set and 102 Lapua cases, 47 of the cases are loaded with a load developed for this rifle.The stock is fiberglass and has an aftermarket Pachmayr recoil pad. The bullet is the Barnes 85 grain TSX boat tail and the ballistics I have looked at suggest around 3600 fps. It groups 1/2" at a hundred. This is a hunting load and this rifle is built to hunt.
