An intriguing S&W Frontier D.A. .44 Russian caliber with a 6" barrel and bore with good rifling but surface roughness. The exterior metal is grey mixed with blue and possible color added. Markings on top of barrel are clean and clear. Action works very well, and the extractor comes up to eject the spent shells.SN 40, 883. Has aged correct fitting natural MOP grips. Came from a local person that had inherited the gun from his grandfather that flew for the RAF and he was given the gun from a ships captain. So this gun may have gone round the world.
