ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS CUSTOM STOCKED HUSQVARNA (MADE IN SWEDEN) BOLT ACTION RIFLE WITH CLAW EXTRACTOR IN .270 WIN. CALIBER, MADE 1952, this rifle is so delightfully handy and crafted that if I could come up with a rationalization for another hunting rifle to add to my collection, I'd keep this one in a heartbeat! This was from an estate that turned up here in Montana, 22" barrel marked on the top "HUSQVARNA VAPINFABRIKS A. B. 270 WINCH." Has either a target trigger or just a professionally tuned factory Husqvarna one that has a very light and crisp pull, truly beautiful and tastefully executed walnut stock of a medium color with contrasting dark grain and fiddle back, steel pistol grip cap, Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad, ebony forend tip, cheek piece with accent line, fine sharp cut checkering, swivel studs, and is mounted with a Leupold VX III 2.5-8X scope (one of my favorite scopes), overall this rifle has seen very light hunting use and shows a few shallow handling marks only, exc. blue, has a Lyman small folding rear sight with ramped blade/bead front sight, steel trigger guard and dropping floor plate, has one tiny shallow/surface chip just behind the upper tang that should be lightly sanded/finished as the wood is still even or slightly higher than the metal and would disappear- or just leave it alone as it is so minor as to be hardly noticeable, weighs 8 1/2 lbs as is, yet feel a pound lighter because the stock is so well shaped and balanced! The stock alone would cost more than what I'm asking for this outstanding rifle!
