Description:
.476 center fire caliber, 5 1/2" octagon barrel, Pryse patent locking system, and breaktop double action. Finished nickel with checkered walnut grip with lanyard ring. Retaining nearly all of the original soft nickel finish with very sharp stampings. Excellent grips and good sharp bore. Marked "W. GRIFFITHS, MANCHESTER" on the barrel. In it's original oak box with green baize lining and wooden cartridge board. Maker's label in the lid. The lid also has a card for "Kenneth Girdwood" which is also engraved on the left side of the frame and on the lid escutcheon.
