Description:
The Medalist has to be one of the most handsome pistols ever made. It exhibits all of the beauty and quality we have come to expect from weapons made in Belgium. One of it's unusual features is the inclusion of a forepiece made of fine walnut that matches the checkered target grip which has a nice thumb rest. The forepiece is removeable to allow the insertion of one of the 4 weights included in the set. Replaceing the forepiece completely hides the presence of the weight . The barrel is 6 & 3/4" long with a rib on top. There is a dry fire mechanism and the trigger is gold colored or plated. It was made in 1969. This model was made from 1964 to 1975. The overall condition is 98%+ There is a mark in the blue in the front part of the grip.. It could be unfired. It comes in a black fitted case with a red fabric interior, 4 weights, case key, a tool and a wood block to hold 60 .22 caliber bullets. The rear sight is adjustable. All metal has a high polish blue finish.
A real beauty that anyone would be proud to own. It is also quite collectible and has held it's value nicely through the years..This should be enjoyed, kept and passed down as a family heirloom to one who would preserve and appreciate it.. Transfers must go through an FFL holder.
