#3890 S&W Model 3 Russian Third Model Commercial Model
This S&W Model 3 Russian is a very early first year production 44 S&W Russian with serial number 415 and has a 6.5” barrel. It is all matching numbers and retains 75% original nickel finish. The mechanical function is about very good and tight. The bore is very good with strong rifling and is frosted. These are the original grips numbered to this gun but they have aftermarket checkering. Overall this is a nice early 3rd Model Russian that was no doubt an early Old West large frame revolver. First year production Indian Wars period large frame revolver.
