Description:
Serial number shows a 1916 manufacture date. Bores are bright and shiny and everything seems to be in working order. Metal condition is fantastic inside and out so this would be a great candidate for a refinish. 20 gauge with 26 inch barrels choked IC/MOD as measured by a brass choke gauge. 3 inch chambers. Curtis forend. Double triggers. Gun appears to have been refinished a long time ago and the butt replaced with a fajen. The restock was done very well and the wood to metal fit is very nice as you can see from the photos. Probably replaced some time in the 50's is my guess. Light and lively little bird gun, weighs 6Lbs 3oz on my postal scale. LOP is 14 1/4 to the front trigger and drops are 1 5/8 and 2 1/2. Just in time for fall hunting and exactly what the LC Smith collector wants to be chasing grouse or woodcock with this fall. Would consider trades. Looking for 16 gauge double. Thanks!
