Austria,Rare, Antique prior WWI rifle scope K.Kahles/Vienna Hubertus 4 X magnification with claw mounts and leather caps. Reticle sharp picket post with thick horizontal wire. K.Kahles/Vienna Hubertus, Mignon with magnification 4X, sometimes 6X rifle scopes was used on sniper rifles(Steyr, Mauser) in Greek Army and Austro-Hungarian Empire Army up to 1918. The scope has elevation and focusing adjustment that working good. Brown bluing in left site of central tube missing on 50%,has some light rust pitting, on the right site of the central tube have brown bluing around 90-95%, objective part of the tube have a brown bluing 99%. The condition for 100 more years old scope I can count good . Lenses are clear and sharp with no scratches. For people who want to have this scope like new I would recommend clean central tube from rust pitting, then polishing and cold rebluing. For best perfect with lenses and adjustment I recommend send rifle scope to optic service, I prefer now L & K Optic Service(owner Larry),they will totally rebuild scope and you will have new collectible rifle scope for next 100 years. But you can use scope right away,scope used in working condition. Great scope for Steyr Mannlicher M1895, Mannlicher Shonnanauer GK rifle, etc. The rifle scope length 245 mm or 9.6 inches The main tube diameter 22 mm,eyepiece tube diameter 31 mm, objective tube diameter 27.5 mm Weight 362 gram or 12.8 ounces (with claw mounts) All packages will be insured.
