Schuetzen - Rifle, 1880's, 8.15x46R, manufactured by Victor Truizsch in Nurnberg, 28" fluted barrel with file-cut ramped front sight with wings, case colored falling block Nimrod removable trigger plate action. Double set triggers with extended trigger guard tang. Opening lock release integral to trigger guard tang. Lower action tang with detachable lock lever, Aperture rear sight on an engraved pedestal with multiple adjustments and a 1-3/4" disc, Action profusely engraved with floral designs and marksmen on both sides of the receiver, checkered straight grip stock, cheek piece, carving of a marksman with his rifle & beer stein with floral designs on rear of stock. Sling swivels. Schuetzen-style butt plate. An excellent collector grade Schuetzen rifle.
