This Turkish Model 98 appears to be an incomplete project. In the hands of a skilled gunmaker, it could be rebarreled and transformed into an attractive, lightweight, medium game rifle in 7 x 57, .257 Roberts, etc.

Caliber Info: 8 x 57mm Mauser
Metal Condition: Both barrel and action show handling marks. Save for the case colored bolt shroud and the blued magazine floor plate, the action remains "in the white".
Wood Condition: Shows light handling and use marks.
Bore Condition: Clean with sharp lands.
Barrels: 23 1/2" Czechoslovakian barrel
Triggers: Double Set Triggers
