Description:
Winchester Model 100 First year production, 1961, chambered in 284 win. If you are looking for a 284 to hunt with, this is it. As I said, it is a first year production. It has as old and very professional re-blue that is still about 97%. The stock is a post 64 style. It appears to have an old repair at the toe. 99 out of 100 people wouldnt even notice. The wood was probably re-done at the time of repair. It is also missing the red 'W' on the grip cap. This sounds like a lot of negatives for one gun, but the action is flawless and the bore is like new. Very interesting, classic rifle.
