Description:
This is a Winchester Model 1892 rilfe in .44 WCF (.44-40). The serial number dates to 1895. This rifle has been reblued. It has not been over polished. There are still traces of pitting visible under the refinish. The 24 inch barrel is a replacement Winchester barrel with the OP Winchester proof mark. The bore is bright and shiny. Sights are a Redfield receiver sight and a front red bead. The rear sight dovetail has been plugged. The stock appears to be a replacement in Excellent condition.
