Description:
This is a Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 rifle in .270 Winchester. The serial number dates to 1954. The action is in Very Good condition with some light scratches and a little wear on the bolt knob. The barrel has Very Good blue and a shiny bore. Sights are a Semi-Buckhorn rear and a front hooded bead sight on a ramp. Bottom metal is Very Good with a light scratch on the bottom of the trigger guard. The stock is checkered walnut that has been nicely refinished. Sling swivels are present, and the butt plate is fitted checkered steel.
