Description:
A unique European sporting rifle in an all time classic cartridge, 7X57 Mauser, German stocked,carved with Roe deer, oak leaves and acorns. Ivory inlays of two Roebuks on each side of a fine European walnut stock. Using a fine 98 Mauser action and FN (Belgium) barrel suited to a Großwildjäger ( big game hunter).
Commissioned at Ramstein Rod& Gun club at Ramstein Air Force base,Germany. The recoil pad is stamped with this information.
Overall condition is very good,excellent bore. Weighs 7.5 lbs Barrel is 24" . Drilled for Weaver scope bases.
