Winchester Model 70 in .220 Swift. 1945 Manufacture, between "pre-war" and "Transition". Front Sight Base an integral part of the barrel like a "Carbine", but it has the 26 inch barrel. Front Hood missing, rear iron sight not on the rifle, but comes with it, due to the scope mounts. Honestly used, stocks are slightly dinged and scratched from use, finish still good, and bore excellent. Period Stith Mount and Stith "Master" Scope included, good clear optics with thick crosshairs. Stith mounts use the rear screw holes on the left side of the reciever and the front two holes, requiring no additional drilling. There are no holes drilled in the rear of the receiver.
