Collector quality Winchester Model 54 in scarce 30 W.C.F. (30-30) caliber. Serial# 37xxxA.
Excellent original condition with remarkable finishes on both metal and wood showing only minor blemishes considering it's 85 years or so! The top of rear receiver bridge remains correctly UNDRILLED. There have been no alterations to bolt handle, safety, stock, swivels, barrel channel, etc. as are so frequently seen on this model. There is a thin line of finish separation on R butt stock near center originating from the buttplate. Upon removal of plate and a close inspection of wood's end grain, this does not appear to penetrate into the wood whatsoever.
Overall, an amazing old rifle in an uncommon caliber that would be extremely difficult to upgrade on.
