1895 SADDLE RING CARBINE IN SCARCE .30-06 CALIBER, MADE 1925, a fairly late carbine in the 1895 line, this one has the handguard intact (usually missing), aged and thinning barrel blue, correct military style rear ladder sight with slide intact, blade with bead front sight, wood is excellent with tight wood to metal fit and no cracks in the handguard, has the ebony filled military style sling swivel inletted area on the bottom of the butt stock (which was usually done when Winchester used up existing musket stocks), mostly gray/brown receiver (typical for 1920s vintage lever actions as the blue typically flaked quickly), sharp excellent bore, exc. screws, no extra holes, saddle ring in left side of receiver, exc. markings, fine example and hard to find with handguard intact.
