1886 .40-65 ROUND BARREL RIFLE, WITH BRIGHT EXCELLENT BORE! MADE 1892, fine aged barrel blue that is thinning/mixing with some brown, mostly brown patina mag tube with some blue in the more protected areas near the muzzle and under the barrel, fine deep blue on bolt, receiver mostly gray, exc. screws, excellent wood with tight wood to metal fit and has two areas of tiny "kill notches" on the top edge of the forend on the right side ahead of the receiver- very small and not deep, could be rubbed out or just left- original buckhorn rear sight with Winchester standard front sight blade, very tight action, hard to find with exc. bright bore.
