Description:
savage model 99 Featherweight takedown 30-30 with 20" barrel having a bright slightly frosted bore. Frame, barrel, and leveer retain 95% of an old reblue showing some surface freckling and faint oxidation. The straight grip stock has a hairline crack just behind the top tang but is otherwise solid. It and the forend exhibit an added strong polished oil finish with some scattered scratches and minor dings. The forend has a crack on either side of the tip but is tight and fully functional. Receiver has been drilled and tapped for scope mounting and original open sights are present. A perfect deer rifle.
