Description:
Francotte Pre-WWII 14-E Graded 12 gauge Shotgun. Serial Number 38347. 28 inch barrels, side clips, cross bolt, ejectors and double triggers. This fine double is Von Lengerke & Detmold retailer marked on the barrels. All original with excellent barrel blue and strong remnants of original case color. Super fine checkering on the stock and fore end with some wear from use mostly on the fore end. No cracks or repairs that we can see and this shotgun is tight and on face, Chokes are Modified and Full and the chambers are 2 3/4 inches. Length of pull is 14 inches over an old leather covered recoil pad. Drop at heel is 2 3/4 inches and drop at comb is 1 3/4 inches. Weight is light at 6 3/4 pounds. Super straight barrels with bight shiny bores and strong ejectors. Sharp original engraving. This is just a very pretty vintage double that will be sure to please any discriminating collector and shooter. Phone for additional pictures.
