Description:
Parker Brothers DHE 12 Gauge factory documented 2 barrel set. Serial number 131440 as produced circa 1905 and documented in the included Parker Collector's Research letter as a factory DHE two barrel set. Barrel lengths are 30 and 26 inch. All dimensions and features are original to the shotgun and all are listed in the research letter including the Silver pad and sling swivels. The shotgun is in truly excellent original condition with vivid Damascus pattern on both sets of barrels. Excellent bores and strong ejectors. No cracks or repairs to either the stock or fore ends and the shotgun is tight and on face. The original Silvers pad has hardened with age but is undoubtedly the original. Sharp engraving and excellent original checkering. Traces of original case color remain on a mostly silver receiver. This is a very cool documented factory two barrel set Parker. Also included are some past ownership history in the way of a hand written letter dated 1932 and a package of parts in an original Parker Bros. envelope.
