Description:
1960's era Custom Model 70. Comes ready to hunt. Re chambered custom barrel from 7mm Rem. express sights and Leupold 2.5X8 in Kimber QR rings. Nicely executed point pattern checkering with ebony for end and grip cap. LOP 13 3/4" over leather covered butt pad. Checkered bolt knob. This has been one of my pet elk rifles so has some wear. Has a few little cracks at the forend that have been repaired. Stays zeroed forever. Groups very well with 175 gr Noslers. Gets over 2900 fps with 24 inch barrel. Hate to sell this one.
