GEORGE III LONG LAND PATTERN BROWN BESS BAYONET CIRCA 1755-68. 21” overall with 17” blade. Very good overall with dark patina mixed with salt and pepper and moderate corrosion. No visible markings. 100% original and dating to the French and Indian War and the American Revolution. See THE SOCKET BAYONET IN THE BRITISH ARMY by Eric Goldstein, pp. 68, 69 and 111. Very hard to find.
