CIVIL WAR REMINGTON NEW MODEL .44 CAL. PERCUSSION ARMY REVOLVER CIRCA 1863. Fine example of the early type with the nickel cone front sight. *” barrel with extra crisp “PATENT SEPT. 14, 1858/E. REMINGTON & SONS, ILION, N.Y., USA/ NEW MODEL” address. All original with minor amounts of blue on the cylinder and barrel. Very crisp patina and excellent working order and fine bore and chambers. Lock up perfectly when cocked. Fine original grips with the original finish. No cartouche and probable State contract. Very nice example.
