(38-40); all numbers match; factory letter included shows a Oct. 26, 1903 shipment to Montgomery Ward & Co., Chicago, Ill; Note: Montgomery Ward had a large mail-order business as well as stores all over the U.S.; this gun came out of Hill Country Texas; a good amount of original nickel finish remains; good Colt Hard Rubber Grips, which are probably not original to gun; hammer is later Colt replacement; very good action, bore, very strong with medium chattering; decent 113 year-old Texas Colt; FFL/C&R required for shipping;All items shipped fully insured Priority Mail- -Hand guns $30 --Long guns $45-- Spurs $30-- Knives, Swords & Sabers $30 (Texas residents please add 6.75% sales tax); return policy: three days inspection from the date the item is received; full refund of shipping both ways ONLY IF THE ITEM IS MISREPRESENTED.
