This is a very nice fully functional, pocket revolver made by the Whitney Arms Company.... dates between 1850- 1853... Only 200 made. Rarely come up for sale, this is one of the nicest ones known...
Last one that I have been able to find, came up for about 15 years ago at Butterfields... It had damage and repairs and sold for $5500.00.
This piece is in much finer condition, all matching serial numbers and no repairs...
