Russian Mosin Nagant M.91/30 Bolt Action PE Sniper Rifle, not a make believe but the real deal Russian Sniper and with a scarce PE Scope, serial # BK 976, cal. 7.62x54R cartridge, 29" barrel with a good bore and strong rifling, rifle retains about 55%+ original finish remainder is gray with some finish turning to patina, the wood shows dings and dents related to a fielded weapon but none that are drastic or alarming, rifle comes with sling and cleaning rod, scope is dated 1939 with good optics, this gun came from the Ed Stempek collection I was a close friend of Ed's and he sold it to me just before he died from a bout with cancer, the history on the gun, it was brought home from the Korean War by Ed who had capture papers with his name and the gun on them, now for the sad part, the papers are lost forever Ed died before he mailed them to me, overall condition on this original sniper is good - very good.
