Description:
Mauser, Carl Gustafs, M-96, 6.5X55, 24" bbl, shiny bore, good rifling, adjustable rear sight, nice wood stock showing normal wear, sling loops, and steel butt plate. MFG in Sweden. This rifle has a crown then "C" then "CARL GUSTAFS STADS" - "GEVARSFAKTORI" - "1907" stamped on the top of the receiver and "dV 210802" on the left side. The bolt parts and top of butt plate all have the crown with "802" stamped on them. Bottom of the magazine is stamprd with the crown and "805". Numbers on the barrel bands do not match. Behind the trigger the stock is stamped with the crown and an "S". Rifle condition plate is mounted in the right side of the stock.
