#448669, Al Biesen 270 Winchester Custom on a Winchester Pre-War Model 70 Action, The action was made in 1959, 22" barrel without any open sights, The barrel is a Pre-64 Featherweight by Winchester, 2 piece Redfield scope bases, 3 x 9 Leupold, Straddle hinged floorplate with a custom trigger guard bow with a center release, A 3-position Model 70 wing safety, Two panel teardrop bolt knob checkering, Model 70 trigger, Jeweled bolt and follower, Action rails inside and out are polished, Built-up & checkered bolt stop release, A pure Biesen Custom Classic style stock, Biesen classic full wrap around Fleur-De-Lis checkering with a fairly deep recess, Shadowline cheekpiece, Very slight monte carlo comb, Sling eyes on the stock, 2 screw Biesen checkered steel grip cap, 13 9/16" LOP over a 1" pad, 8 lbs. 1 oz., Excellent bore, A very nice piece of wood with fiddleback from one end to the other, The original Biesen blue remains at 97%, The original stock finish at 96%, The checkering is at 99%, This is another classic Al Biesen with excellent inletting.
