Dalton’; at the time, there were Montgomery Ward retail stores in Texas, as well as mail order; there was a J.W. Dalton who was a member of the Texas Volunteer Guards; don’t know if this is the same guy that the gun was sold to, but the name matches the Texas State Adjutant Records from 1899; good action and bore; fair amount of original nickel remains; all numbers match; FFL/C&R required for shipping;All items shipped fully insured Priority Mail- -Hand guns $30 --Long guns $45; Spurs (Texas residents please add 6.75% sales tax); return policy: three days inspection from the date the item is received; full refund of shipping both ways ONLY IF THE ITEM IS MISREPRESENTED.
