Quality Consignments Wanted! This Smith & Wesson is serial numbered V 36686. This pistol has the war time finish and polish. The Left top strap is U.S. Navy Marked. On the same side below the cylinder release thumb piece there is also stamped in red, Property Of U.S. Navy. This revolver is all matched serial numbers including the grips. The pistol shows very little use or being fired. The bore and cylinders are bright and clean. The color cased trigger and hammer is very colorful and strong. This pistol is chambered for the 38 Special cartridge. This pistol would rate a 98% overall condition. This S&W also comes with a original Navy issued shoulder holster and ammunition pouch. The shoulder holster is Marked U.S.N. Boyt 1944. The six round ammunition pouch is marked Property U.S. Navy. The holster is in fine condition and very serviceable. The ammunition pouch is in like new condition. This is a very highly desirable collectable pistol rig. Smith & Wesson's in the Victory Model with the Red, Property Of U.S. Navy and again markes U.S. Navy on the top strap are quite rare. To have this pistol and a Navy marked holster and ammunition pouch is a real plus for the advanced collector! Search for hlvfineguns on google.
