Description:
Sako AIII Custom Rifle 7mm Remington Magnum. The rifle features a 24" Shilen or Douglas barrel, high grade walnut stock with fine-line fleur de'lis checkering, ebony wood forend cap, blued metal grip cap and Pachmayr studs for sling swivels, and the floor-plate has scroll engraving and a silver sheeps head. The rifle is an Intermountain Arms custom rifle, built by Intermountain Arms & Tackle (later Intermountain Outdoor Sports) of Meridian Idaho in the late 1980s to early 1990s. Intermountain was one of Idaho's largest hunting and fishing stores in the Meridian and Boise Idaho area for many years, dating from the late 1970s to early 2000s. Their work was top notch and their big game and varmint rifles were super accurate.

Caliber Info: 7mm Remington Magnum
Metal Condition: Very good. Has some light wear, which is not too noticeable.
Wood Condition: Very good plus but with some small scratches.
Bore Condition: Excellent bore.
Barrels: 24" custom barrel. Probably a Shilen or a Douglas, as Intermountain Arms almost always used these.
Stock: High grade walnut.
Stock Dimensions:
13 3/4" Lenght of pull.
Butt Pad: Pachmayr recoil pad.
Weight: 8 Lbs 2 Oz.
Sights: Integral groove in top of receiver and includes bases. Leupold or Redfield rings should fit.
