Description:
This is a nicely executed Alan Horst custom Ruger #1 single shot rifle in the rare caliber 45/120. Mr. Horst has fitted the rifle with a beautiful english walnut stock and forend capped with ebony. He has fitted the rifle with a half round half octagon barrell. Likewise the gun has been fitted with high quality vernier tang sight and adjustable globe sight. The buttstock features a shawdow line cheek piece and engraved steel grip cap. The length of pull is 13 3/4" over a Pachmeyer old english pad. The upper barrell flats as well as both action flats show Mr. Horst engraving talents. Those embelishments include the inlay of Indian head and Buffalo head nickels.
