Made in 1948, Excellent & Original condition, 24" barrel, Correct Buckhorn style rear sight with the thumb elevator, Factory front sight hood, Early style machined integral front ramp, Standard 3 position safety, Standard Model 70 hinged floorplate, Standard point pattern checkering, Sling eyes & swivels, 13 3/4" LOP over the factory checkered steel buttplate, 8 lbs. 6 oz., The original barrel blue is 97%, The receiver blue is 98%, The floorplate & trigger guard is 97%, The bolt knob is 85%, The buttplate has 92% blue, The original wood finish at 96%, The checkering is 100%, The bore is absolutely as new. This is a very honest and nice 1948 Model 70 that I am most certain never went hunting and it actually appears unfired. We have 5 more Pre-64 Model 70's in 270 Win.
