Smith & Wesson 29-2, Cal. .44 mag., 8 1/2' Barrel, Nickle plated.
A real beauty with all the goodies, 8 1/2" pinned barrel and recessed cylinder. This revolver shows only the very slightest use.
The nickle plating is 100%, there are no scratches or flakes, not even any rub marks. All parts match, and are unmodified. The case colored target hammer and trigger are 100%. The walnut checkered medallion target grips are perfect. No chips splits or flattened points. There are no marred screws anywhere. The gun locks up tight and indexes properly. The recoil shield and force cone show an absolute minimum of use.
The adjustable rear sight has the white outline and the front sight, a red plastic insert, both correct. The front of the cylinder shows hardly more than the original factory test marks. The chambers and bore, like the rest of the gun, are minty.
The rifling is scalpel sharp and sunshine bright. The gun comes with the original hardwood box which has had the lining removed, but could be replaced.
Original lined hardwood boxes for this gun are available from S & W at slightly above $100. The gun has been priced accordingly.....
