Evans SN 6134, Webley Action No. 10262. 26” quarter rib barrel machined for Talley quick detachable rings, 2.75 Lyman All-American scope, recently reconditioned. 14” LOP over Silver’s pad. 7X57 Rimmed brass is available, and does not require special dies; regular 7x57 Mauser dies work perfectly. Rifle shoots very well at 100 yards with 175 grain Hornady Round Nose (standard) bullets, as demonstrated by target, using the Lyman scope. Factory ammunition is also available for this cartridge.
A beautiful, well-balanced piece in a classic caliber for American or African plains game, in an easy to find and shoot cartridge.
