It must have been something I Aydt....
This was purchased as a parts gun as I needed the internals and sights.
For sale are the following: Reciever that is either chromed or silvered finely engraved with scroll, a griffon, a cherub and a dapper fellow in medieval garb. The attached barrel has been demilled by boring out as well as drilling 3 small holes in the bottom flat just ahead of the forearm. The top barrel flat has what appears to be an inlaid dancer (no - not a pole dancer) in ornate costume inlaid in silver coloured metal. The buttstock has been cracked and repaired at the wrist and the forearm needs a couple of small wood grafts and repairs.
This is ideal for someone who has a corroded Aydt with good internals. If you are really adventurous, DeHaas's book has a diagram of the internals to assist you. I would also offer $300 to someone with a crusty and rusty Aydt that has a complete set of good internals.

I will err on the side of caution and ask for an FFL as I am straight arrow and intend to stay that way.
