Description:
This Browning lever gun was purchased new in 1986. It was placed in the gunsafe and the box went into the closet. The rifle was not loaded, not shot, not dropped, not dry fired at imaginary indians, bears or buffalo and not cycled. It is for sale because I lucked into an original Winchester 1886 from an estate. I think that the Browning quality stands head and shoulders above what you would get if you purchased a currently imported 1886 with its fake chemical casehardening, and the price is below what you would pay for the current import.
Note: This is a NIB in the box gun in every sense of the word. There is a bit of glare off the original Browning factory finish and thre are no returns as I am not sending out a new gun and getting a used one back. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt.
